Xune was born into one of the most powerful families in the city. The fourth child with 3 older children, her parents had high hopes upon her. However, they quickly noticed a fatal weakness in her as she grew up; she was incapable of lying, and would most likely believe in almost anything at face value or not understand that it was an attempt at subterfuge and “correct” people who were lying. It wasn’t too hard to hide when she was young, because Xune had many private tutors and stayed in the family’s estate, but as she grew up and had to go out in to society, it caused many problems for her and everyone around her. Many other Drow thought it was merely a cunning way to manipulate her peers, but her parents knew better. And so when Xune got a baby sister, her parents feigned her death, gave her some bare essentials and threw her out, for everyone’s wellbeing.
She was born with strange powers that she can barely contain most of the time, where she only has to force her thoughts and emotions to cause bad things to happen, this was a less known reason as to why she was forced to leave home, since sorceresses are not well tolerated back home…
She had some difficulties, wandering alone in the Underdark, but she soon found a tunnel to the Surface. Xune was lucky to get to the Surface during spring and to find an abandoned shack close to a small community. Xune, being used to having servants for everything, had a hard time adjusting, but she somehow managed, especially when some other youths her age found her, and decided to keep her a secret from adults in the community. She learnt how to take care for herself and live of the land. After a few months a young Tiefling found his way to her shack and had set up to live there. They agreed to share the place and with the help of the others had a rather pleasant time.
Xune has realized that most of what she was taught about humans, dwarves, Tieflings, elves and the dragonborn doesn’t quite seem to hold true. But sometimes she forgets herself and can come with some rather strange “insights” from her homeland…
Xune is for the most time rather calm if a bit flighty, one has to really grab her attention or it shall go wondering quickly. However, she does have quite a temper if you manage to rouse it, it usually flares when she realizes that someone is lying to her or otherwise acting dishonorable.
